CMAA Foundation

Mission: "To provide opportunities and support through education and research endeavors to advance knowledge in the management of the construction process."

Vision: "The CMAA Foundation will be the premier foundation supporting education and research in the management of the construction process."

Did you know? As little as $50 from each member ($10/year for five years) would enable the CMAA Foundation to reach its Capital Campaign goal and become even stronger.

Sign in to your CMAA account and select "CMAA Foundation" from the list of menu items to donate online now. All contributions to the Foundation are tax-deductible under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

The CMAA Foundation was established to provide dedicated funding for academic scholarships and support for original, targeted market and technical Construction Management research. Through the Foundation, supporters help create new knowledge, improve professional practice, and assure the future of the CM profession.

Board of Directors — The Foundation is led by a volunteer Board of Directors, which is currently chaired by Christine Keville of Keville Enterprises, Inc.

Financial Contributors — Tax deductible contributions are vital to the Foundation's goal of strengthening the CM industry's position in the marketplace and working to support the skilled CM workforce of tomorrow.

Scholarships — Congratulations to our 2010 winners! Three, $3,000 CMAA Foundation scholarships and a $3,000 Fancis M. Keville Memorial Scholarship have been awarded. Read more about the scholarships and this year's recipients here.

Research — Construction Management-related research is a key focus of the CMAA Foundation.

Raise money and have fun!

The CMAA Foundation hosts fundraising programs throughout the year, focusing on two major opportunities: one at the Forum in the spring and the other at the National Conference & Trade Show in the fall.

Funds raised at these events help the Foundation provide scholarship opportunities to deserving students and also help the Foundation in efforts to bring young people into the CM industry.

You are invited to the 2010 CMAA Foundation reception aboard a chartered yacht at 5:30 pm on Monday, October 4 during the National Conference and Trade Show. Attend the two-hour cruise on the San Diego Bay, and you'll be contributing to the Foundation's efforts to fund future student scholarships and career promotion. Complete details, including registration, are available here. This event is made possible through a generous sponsorship from the San Diego Chapter of CMAA.
