CMAA Foundation
The CMAA Foundation was established to provide dedicated funding for academic scholarships and support for original, targeted market and technical research in the field of construction management. Through the Foundation, supporters help create new knowledge, improve professional practice, and assure the future of the CM profession. All contributions to the Foundation are tax-deductible under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Mission: “To provide opportunities and support through education and research endeavors to advance knowledge in the management of the construction process.” Vision: “The CMAA Foundation will be the premier foundation supporting education and research in the management of the construction process.” Board of Directors — The Foundation is led by a volunteer Board of Directors, which is currently chaired by Christine Keville of Keville Enterprises, Inc. Financial Contributors — Tax deductible contributions are vital to the Foundation’s goal of strengthening the CM industry’s position in the marketplace and working to support the skilled CM workforce of tomorrow. Scholarships — The Foundation will soon be accepting scholarship applications for the 2008-2009 academic year. The deadline to apply is April 16, 2008. Check back soon for application requirements! Research — Construction management-related research is a key focus of the CMAA Foundation.
