Mark Hasso, Ph.D., P.E., is Professor of Construction Management and Construction Management Program Coordinator. Before joining Wentworth, he has had several years of design and construction of institutional and industrial facilities. He is a founding member of the CMAA New England Chapter and continues to serve on it Board and serves as the CM eJournal Editor-in-Chief.

Professor Hasso has served as President of the Boston Society of Civil Engineers Section of ASCE (American Society of Civil Engineers) and member of the Board of Directors of the Associated General Contractors of MassachusettsHe also serves as Trustee of the Seven Hills Foundation and formerly Trustee of Anna Maria College (Paxton, Massachusetts).  He earned a master degree in Civil Engineering from The City University of London (UK) and a Master and Ph.D. in Construction Management from WPI (Worcester, Massachusetts).

Christine Flaherty, STV Construction

Ms. Flaherty, CCM, LEED AP, is a Senior Associate and Director of Business Development for STV’s Construction Division, responsible for generating work for the firm’s construction practice. She has worked as a general contractor, construction manager, and owner’s representative for the non-profit, private and public sectors with project values ranging from $1 million to $175 million. 

Ms. Flaherty earned her MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business and is a Civil Engineer with a B.S. degree from Bucknell University.  She actively teaches in CMAA’s Standards of Practice course and she sits on CMAA’s national professional development committee.  Ms. Flaherty sits on the board of Professional Women in Construction, CMAA’s Foundation Board, and the Village of Freeport’s Zoning Board of Appeals.

 

 

Christine Keville, FCMAA, Keville Enterprises

Ms. Keville is President & Chief Executive Officer of Keville Enterprises, Inc. (KEI).  She has over 20 years experience on major projects involving buildings, pipe lines, bridges, highways, tunnels, transit & rail, airports and telecommunications construction.  Throughout her career, she has worked on numerous projects totaling over $16 billion dollars in value.  As the founder and incorporator of KEI, she is accountable for the overall coordination, direction and supervision of this 135 person CM firm spanning throughout nine offices across the nation.

Ms. Keville earned her Masters degree in Construction Management from Northeastern University and her Bachelors degree in Mathematics from North Adams State.  She is also a Massachusetts licensed Construction Supervisor.   She is a Corporator for Wentworth Institute of Technology and sits on the Industrial Advisory Board for Northeastern University. She is past National President for CMAA and currently serves as Chairman for CMAA’s Foundation. 

She has served on the Board of Directors for Construction Industries of Massachusetts, Women’s Transportation Seminar – Boston, and the Jordan Hospital.  She was recently inducted to the MOLES and became a CMAA Fellow.  She received S.S. Womens Business Network’s Women Mean Business award; WTS Boston’s Woman of the Year award; Virginia Tech’s Outstanding Woman in Construction award; Patriots Trail Girl Scouts’ Leading Women award, and Northeastern University’s Outstanding Engineering Alumni award.

 

 

 

Henry M. Koffman, P.E., University of Southern California

Mr. Koffman is Director of the Construction Engineering and Management Program at the University of Southern California and Senior Lecturer in Civil and Environmental Engineering. In 2005, he received a distinguished faculty award, a faculty honor for outstanding service.  As a licensed Professional Engineer, Mr. Koffman performed structural inspections, structural retrofit design, construction estimates, and construction management services.

Since 1997, Mr. Koffman has served as a member of CMAA's Board of Directors and CMAA's Foundation.  In 2007, he started working with the International Committee and formed CMAA's Student Chapter at USC.  Mr. Koffman has lectured in Korea, China, Turkey, Greece, Thailand and Taiwan.
