Keville Appointed President

 

Keville Becomes President of Construction Management Association of America at National Conference

            WASHINGTON, DC - Christine Keville, president and chief executive officer of Keville Enterprises, Inc., of Marshfield, MA, became president of the Construction Management Association of America at CMAA’s recently concluded national conference in Washington, DC.

            The National Conference took place September 7-9 at the Grand Hyatt Washington Center.

            Keville, who was selected as president-elect of CMAA in 2002, succeeds Mansour Aliabadi of Vanir Construction Management.  CMAA’s membership of more than 2,200 includes professional construction and program managers, construction management companies, and project owners both public and private.

            “I’m particularly thrilled to be entering this new position at a time of such dynamic growth and excitement at CMAA,” Keville said.  “Membership has more than doubled in the last four years and we have stronger networks of alliances and industry relationships than ever before.  The association has the resources and commitment to accomplish important things in the coming year, and I’m eager to be part of it.”

            Joseph Seibold, P.E., vice president of Carter & Burgess, was selected as president-elect of CMAA for 2003-2004. The newly elected secretary-treasurer is Bob Fraga, manager of the Supply Management Facilities Portfolio at the United States Postal Service.

            CMAA elected four vice presidents:

·   Walter Fairchild, Atlanta, GA

·   Joe Lawton, CCM, DMJM H+N

·   William Van Wagenen, CCM, CH2M Hill

Elected to three year terms as directors of CMAA were:

·   Bill Hoy, Marriott International

·   Raoul Ilaw, Parsons

·   Randy Larson, PBS&J

·   Steve Routon, HNTB Corporation

·   Brian Stover, Urban Engineers, Inc.

            Nearly 650 people attended the conference, which featured the presentation of the 2003 Project Achievement Awards along with a complete program of general sessions, panels and breakout sessions.  A report of highlights of the conference is available at http://www.cmaanet.org.
