CMAA Partners with Financial Managers
McLean, VA - The Construction Management Association of America (CMAA), based in McLean, Virginia, has announced a recently signed partnership agreement with the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA).
The expectations of the CMAA-CFMA partnership are to create cooperative efforts and better communication among industry organizations. “We believe that working together through partnerships and alliances, we can achieve these goals,” said CMAA President Mansour Aliabadi.
CFMA President Herb Brownett agreed. "Together, our organizations can accomplish much more than either can singly. Our collective memberships, as well as our respective professional fields, will surely reap the benefits of this alliance for years to come."
CMAA, the Construction Manager Certification Institute (CMCI) and the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA) have formed an alliance to encourage cooperation among contractors, construction managers, financial managers, designers, owners and other segments of the construction industry; to help the construction industry better serve construction users; to improve ethics and professionalism in the construction industry; and to promote any other common interests of the members.
CMAA also has partnering and alliance relationships with the America Subcontractors Association (ASA), National Society for Professional Engineers (NSPE), Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).
