Entry Requirements

All entries must be received by CMAA by Friday June 26, 2009, 5:00 pm EDT.

You also have the opportunity to single out your design consultant and/or your constructor for recognition. The judges will elect a Design Professional of the Year and a Constructor of the Year from among those nominated on Project Achievement Award winning entries. Simply check the box on the application form indicating that you are making a nomination(s), and provide a description of the nominee’s outstanding performance where requested in Tab Three of your entry.

Also, the judges will select from among the Project Achievement Award winners the projects that best exemplify:

• Unique contributions the CM/PM made to achieving sustainable construction and/or LEED certification
• Innovative use of BIM technology to benefit the project.

These projects or programs will receive special additional recognition.

General Information -The Person of the Year Award recognizes an industry leader who has made significant contributions on behalf of the construction management industry. This industry advocate possesses unparalleled leadership skills, high quality workmanship, and has an outstanding track record in delivering successful programs. Past recipients of the Person of the Year Award include:

Entry Requirements

The selection will be made by CMAA's Executive Committee at its July meeting. The award is presented during the National Conference & Trade Show in Orlando, Florida at the CMAA Industry Recognition Dinner on Tuesday, October 27.
