CCM and CMIT Reception

Join your fellow CCMs and CMITs for a reception held in your honor. Individuals holding the CCM and CMIT designations are a select group and networking opportunities abound during this event. Remarks will be made by current CCMs and CMITs, and recent CCMs and CMITs will be acknowledged and congratulated for achieving their certification. Guests will receive an invitation by mail prior to the conference and should bring the invitation with them.

Register for the CMAA Foundation Golf Tournament at the historic Presidio Golf Course, located in the heart of San Francisco. Registration fees include a continental breakfast, after-tournament refreshments, range balls, greens fees, cart, a golf shirt, contest prizes and transportation to and from the course. All proceeds go to support the Foundation's initiatives in industry research, career promotion and educational scholarships.
Fee: individual, $250; foursome, $900 (individual in a foursome: $225)

Trade Show 2008

Make an executive decision to improve your firm! Attend the CMAA Trade Show where you can view products, services and technological advancements from scores of exhibitors that can help make your firm operate more efficiently, effectively and profitably. The show opens early, so you can take a turn around the floor before the day’s lunch on the trade show floor. You will also find a networking break between educational sessions in the afternoon to facilitate visiting the many exhibitors.
If you’re not able to attend the entire conference, consider coming to the trade show. Use the registration form to apply for this admission at a reduced fee.
CMAA Annual Meeting

As an organization, CMAA conducts a great deal of business on behalf of its members. Today’s program provides an overview of the progress made by CMAA during the past year. Chairman
Bill Van Wagenen, CCM, will lead the meeting and, with the membership, conduct the business of CMAA. Executive Committee members will report on the status of the association and its component organizations, the CMAA Foundation and CMCI. President & CEO Bruce D’Agostino, CAE, will also report on headquarters activities.
First Timers and New Members Reception

This event offers an opportunity for first-time National Conference attendees and members who have joined since last year’s conference to meet and network with one another as the National Conference experience begins. At this reception, you’ll meet members of the Board of Directors and learn how to get the most value from your conference participation as explained by some “veteran” attendees! The sticker on your badge will identify you as a “first timer” or a new member to all conference attendees. Tickets for this event are $55, and proceeds go to the CMAA Foundation to promote valuable industry research and to provide worthy students with scholarships.

Industry Awards Luncheon with Keynote Speaker Norbert W. Young, FAIA
TUESDAY, OCTOBER 14 • 11:45 am – 1:45 pm
This luncheon provides an opportunity for attendees to receive updates on the past year’s progress and achievements by CMAA, CMCI and the CMAA Foundation from President & CEO Bruce D’Agostino, CAE and other leaders. In addition, the regional chapter awards are presented, the CMAA Foundation scholarships are bestowed on the industry’s deserving students, and the recipients of the President’s Award are recognized. Chairman Bill Van Wagenen, CCM, will also recognize the outgoing and incoming Board of Directors.
Following the awards presentations, attendees will hear from Norbert W. Young, FAIA, President of McGraw-Hill Construction. A registered architect, Young has been with McGraw-Hill since 1997. He heads up the publishing enterprise that produces the Dodge Reports, Sweets, Architectural Record, Engineering News-Record, GreenSource, 11 regional publications,
and construction.com.

This closing event promises to be a highlight of the conference. After dinner, join in honoring this year’s winners as CMAA’s highest awards are presented. The Project Achievement Awards
recognize an entire spectrum of projects and programs. The Distinguished Service and Distinguished Owner awards presentations are made, followed by the announcement of new
Fellows. The Person of the Year award will also be given this evening. After the “passing of the gavel” by Chairman Bill Van Wagenen, CCM, Chairman-elect Tom Bishop, CCM, of URS Corporation will address the audience, outlining his plans for the coming year.
The evening is black tie optional. Ticket included with each full registration except for students. Additional tickets for students and non-registrants: $175 per person with Early Bird registration;
$200 per person thereafter.
