CMAA is looking forward to welcoming attendees to Philadelphia for CMAA2021 - it has been too long since we have all seen each other. CMAA continues to be committed to protecting public health and will follow all safety measures based on CDC, state and building requirements. Things are rapidly changing and new guidance and protocols are being released often. We will continue to monitor changes and will be posting updates related to the possible impact of COVID-19 on CMAA2021.
Planning for changes:
All throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, CMAA has been making the necessary adjustments to plan CMAA2021. While these safety measures have changed, sometimes quickly and frequently - our priority as always remained participant health and safety. Together, with the Philadelphia Marriott and based on current mandates from the State of Pennsylvania and the City of Philadelphia, there are currently no distancing and capacity requirements. The City of Philadelphia is currently requiring all persons, regardless of vaccination status, to wear masks while indoors.
Knowing that attendees' comfort with meeting attendance will vary, CMAA2021 is still planning for the following:
- Hand sanitizing stations
- Varied room sets (where available)
- Waiver review and release required to obtain attendance
Additionally, we are in constant communication with the Philadelphia Marriott regarding food service offerings.
The Philadelphia Marriott is in contact with Philadelphia Public Health who is monitoring the situation in coordination with the Pennsylvania Department of State Health Services, CDC, local and regional public health and healthcare agencies.
Please note: the below requirements and release will be included as part of your CMAA021 registration.
