Winning work starts with a strong proposal, and strong proposals don’t happen by accident. This course is designed for construction managers and project professionals who support proposal efforts and want a clear, practical understanding of how proposals are developed and evaluated in the construction management industry.
Participants will walk through the full proposal lifecycle—from go/no-go decisions to final submission—learning how proposals are planned, structured, written, and reviewed. The course focuses on interpreting RFP requirements, aligning technical content with owner priorities, developing compliant and persuasive narratives, and collaborating effectively with technical teams, marketers, and leadership.
You’ll gain insight into how owners evaluate proposals, what separates a compliant response from a compelling one, and how proposal strategy and capture planning influence success. By the end of the course, you’ll be better prepared to review proposal content critically and contribute in ways that strengthen pursuit strategies and improve your firm’s ability to win work.
