You're already a subject matter expert. Now become an engaging, confident educator and a CMAA Authorized Trainer with CMAA's Train the Trainer course. Learn proven techniques to teach adults, navigate different learning styles, manage a classroom, and deliver powerful presentations that stick.
This course includes:
- Pre-recorded course footage for inspiration and modeling
- Classroom-ready tools including CMAA’s Adult Education Toolkit
- A live, interactive session to practice and refine your skills
Upon successful completion, you’ll be officially recognized as a CMAA Authorized Trainer, qualified to lead any CMAA-run courses – including chapter and private courses, or be hired by organizations who license the course.

Before the course begins, you’ll receive links to past presentations and helpful references, including CMAA’s Adult Education Toolkit and presentation resources.
Schedule
Available in-person or virtual live instruction
- Day 1: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. - discussion, slide reviews, and participant presentations with feedback
- Day 2: 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. - attendees teach a portion of the Professional CM Course
Educational Credit:
Course participants earn 16 CMCI Recertification Points and Professional Development Hours (PDHs). Partial credit is not assigned.
