The Walkway Over the Hudson State Historic Park became a reality through the efforts of a non-profit community organization called Walkway Over the Hudson, the public-private partnership involving the State of New York, the federal government, neighboring municipalities, private corporations, and other not for profit groups. This session will discuss examples of high visibility, partnership, communication, and collaboration among stakeholders to assure a successful project, including building consensus and agreement on the decisions made to attain the goals of the project.
