Purpose, goals, and desired outcomes:
Identify the slate of candidates for vacancies occurring on the Board of Directors (elected by the general membership). Ratify the slate of candidates for officer positions on the Board of Directors (elected by the general membership) and the slate of candidates for vacancies occurring on the Foundation Board of Directors.
One nomination cycle (approximately January - June).
Availability to review all submitted nominations (approx. 1-3 hours annually depending on the number of candidates). Two conference calls between May and July, annually.
CMAA member in good standing. Committee members are prohibited from serving consecutive years.
Knowledge of CMAA and general knowledge of governance processes and objectives.
Key success measurements:
Nominations made for all positions on the annual ballot.
Committee/task force make up:
Defined in Bylaws.
Resources available to complete the project or task:
Nomination packets from individuals interested in being elected as Voting Directors; roster of candidates for vacancies on the CMAA Foundation Board of Directors, as determined by the Foundation Board of Directors Nominating Committee; roster of candidates for officer positions as determined by the Bylaws.
