About the speaker:
Mr. Prieto has almost 40 years of experience in engineering, construction and infrastructure organisations. He became Senior Vice President of Infrastructure Group at Fluor Corporation in January 2004. In this position, he was responsible for strategic planning, marketing and developing opportunities in new markets for Fluor group and also supports business development associated with Fluor's Government and Industrial groups. During his time at Fluor, he was Executive Sponsor for multiple national and international transportation programs and advised C-suite and “giga” project teams on programs totalling US$50 billion. He served as the Chairman of Parsons Brinckerhoff, where he directly managed Corporate Development, including strategic planning, business development, government affairs, corporate communications and new initiative activities. He co-chaired the New York City Partnership's Infrastructure Task Force. He has been an Independent Non-Executive Director of Cardno Limited since March 11, 2016. He serves as a Director of World Economic Forum. He serves as a Presidential Appointee to the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Business Advisory Council. Mr. Prieto holds a Bachelor's Degree from New York University, New York and a Master's Degree from Polytechnic University, New York, where he serves as a Trustee.
