[Chapter] I-30 Canyon Improvement Project Site Tour

Join us for an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the I-30 Canyon Improvements Project, one of the region’s most significant transportation infrastructure investments. Scheduled to continue through 2031, the project is an approximately $888 million TxDot initiative to reconstruct and widen I-30 through downtown Dallas between I-35E and I-45/I-345. The project will transform approximately 1.6 miles of the corridor into a modern urban freeway with six mainlines in each direction, reconstructed bridges, and major interchange and ramp improvements.

Participants will hear from Joe With, P.E., who will provide project insights, discuss key construction challenges, and share lessons learned from delivering this transformative roadway improvement through the heart of Fort Worth.

This tour offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable knowledge during the discussion, followed by an exclusive tour of I-30 Canyon Improvements Project.

Space is limited. PPE is required.

[Chapter] Site Tour: Inside the Five Points Transformation

CMAA-SAC Site Tour: Inside the Five Points Transformation

Join us for an exclusive look at one of Atlanta’s most ambitious infrastructure upgrades — the $230 million MARTA Five Points Transformation. As the central rail hub where all four MARTA lines converge, Five Points is the heartbeat of the city’s transit system and a critical gateway for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

This behind-the-scenes tour will take you into the core of a complex, multi-year project that is reshaping a live, heavily used station while keeping Atlanta moving. Learn how the team is replacing the massive concrete canopy, reimagining pedestrian circulation, building a new centralized bus hub, and integrating public art and community spaces. You will also have an opportunity to visit the nearly complete Station Rehabilitation project on the East-West and North-South platforms.

This is a can’t-miss opportunity for owners, developers, and AEC professionals to see firsthand how the project team is managing construction sequencing, safety, and stakeholder coordination in one of the most challenging environments: a transit hub that never stops running.

This tour is a rare chance to walk the site before the world arrives in 2026!

Please Note:

  • Box lunches will be provided as part of this Lunch & Learn–style program.

  • Attendees are encouraged to bring their own PPE (hard hat, safety vest, safety glasses, and closed-toe shoes).

Thank you to our sponsors!
